I showed an earlier version of this strip to a few people, and I was surprised when the common reaction was “who’s Kurosawa”?
Akira Kurosawa is recognized as one of the greatest directors in motion picture history, and if you’ve never seen “Seven Samurai” you really should. I guess I’m such a fan of his work it never dawned on me that not everyone is familiar with his name.
Anyhoo… I’m not sure how many of you will appreciate this strip, but there’s something about wearing the full kami-sama no yoroi that makes me giggle.
